Minneapolis Millennium Hotel Site for Timely Discussion
On Tuesday December 4, 2001, Northwestern Travel Management
Corporate Account Services hosted 35 guests for a very
relevant conversation on corporate readiness in the
event of serious disruptions in air travel.
Participants agreed that the terrorist attacks of September
11 highlighted the successes and challenges experienced
by corporations when faced with the complete shutdown
of the nation's air infrastructure. Travel managers
had employees stuck in every corner of the world, with
no apparent way to get home.

A Surprise Good Bye for Isa Bartoli
At the end of the program, participants shared in a brief
retirement celebration for Isa Bartoli of Sanofi - Synthelabo.
Northwestern Travel Management corporate account manager
Julie Barrett, who has enjoyed a four-year personal and professional
friendship with Isa, extended best wishes from the NTM team.
Isa was presented with gifts including an Atlas of the United
States, and a framed poem, "An Ode to Isa." The poem was read
aloud for Isa, and celebrated her career at Sanofi and most
importantly, her recognition as a dear friend to Northwestern
Travel Management.
