Toronto Airport Crimes

Fun drivers ed games, drivers ed games for free.

Police in Ontario, Canada warn travelers transiting Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Canada of "distraction thieves" operating at the airport. Police report that groups of three or more thieves work together to divert a traveler's attention in an attempt to steal luggage and valuables. Two suspected thieves were arrested on Sept. 19 in what authorities believe was an organized group's attempt to set-up a theft ring at the airport.

Travelers should take the following precautions to avoid being victimized:

  • Carry your luggage from the vehicle you arrived in directly to the check-in area
  • Never leave baggage unattended while in check-in lines
  • Maintain physical control of carry-on baggage in all areas of the airport, including bathrooms
  • Immediately report any suspicious persons/loiterers to terminal police.
