Hawaii Service Expanded

Delta and Aloha separately announced plans to expand Hawaii service. In a move to help lure travelers to Hawaii, Delta will add nonstop Atlanta-Honolulu service beginning August 1. Meanwhile, Aloha will expand service from California and Nevada to three of Hawaii's major islands in its ongoing efforts to provide service to smaller airports and the niche market that prefers them. Beginning June 20, Aloha will offer nonstop service four times per week from Oakland, CA to Lihue on Kauai. Nonstop flights from Oakland to Kona on the Big Island will run daily.
