Air Canada Eliminates Paper Tickets

Air Canada is eliminating paper tickets for travel in all of North America, as of June 1. Back in December, the airline eliminated paper tickets for travel within Canada and received overwhelming customer and travel agency acceptance of e-ticket usage. The airline’s ongoing initiatives are to offer easy, simple customer services and reduce distribution costs. Customers still can opt for a paper ticket for other international travel, but must continue to pay a processing fee ($30 Canadian, $20 U.S.) to do so on routes where e-tickets are available.
