Florida Drive Out Program
Hertz reintroduced the Florida Drive Out Program, where clients pick up a car in Florida and drive it one-way to a number of points north. The program was designed as a way for Hertz to reposition its rental fleet after the winter high season in Florida. Available for pick-up at all corporate-owned Florida locations, the Florida Drive Out Program is available through May 21.

To qualify for the program, customers must rent a vehicle from a Florida Hertz location and return it to any one of the more than 45 designated Hertz corporate locations in Connecticut, Detroit, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, New York, New Jersey or Ohio.

Hertz 3 New Illinois Facilities
In keeping with the company's strategy to expand into the off-airport market in the state, Hertz hasd three new car-rental facilities in Chicago and South Holland, Illinois.

In addition, Hertz converted 15 existing locations into Hertz Local Edition facilities to provide broader coverage of the Chicago-area suburban market. With the new locations, Hertz said it operates more than 40 sites throughout Illinois.
