New York Smoking Ban

Smoking has been banned from all public indoor spaces in New York City effective Sunday, April 6. Only a small number of upscale cigar bars are exempted from the ban. While nonsmokers and public health experts are cheering the new rules, others are not as happy. Some are concerned that the ban will affect meeting and conference attendance as well as overall tourism to the Big Apple.
