Frequent Flyer Award Changes

gost tr

Midwest Express ‘Midwest Miles’ Program Revisions
On February 17, Midwest (soon to be called just ‘Midwest’) unveiled a major re-launch of its frequent flyer program. The revised program includes new partnerships with Air Jamaica (effective April 2) and American Airlines (effective June 1). As of May 29, however, Northwest and Virgin Atlantic will no longer be Midwest Miles partners; award reservations for Northwest and Virgin can be booked and ticketed through May 28 for travel completed by April 23, 2004. Some of the other program changes include the elimination of blackout dates and a "Choice" category that waives seat limits on award bookings.

Northwest WorldPerks Ticketing Changes
As you may have read, effective February 19, 2003, NWA WorldPerks will no longer accept award reservations booked via a travel agency computer. Travelers must now call the Northwest WorldPerks Service Center at 800-44-PERKS for assistance using mileage to redeem WorldPerks free tickets and/or WorldPerks Upgrades.
