Nearly 2,000
people
registered
for free airline tickets, hotel stays and car rentals as part of NTM's
fourth annual Customer Appreciation Week, held in December.
In addition
to the give-aways to show appreciation to NTM customers and travelers,
NTM donated $2,300 to AirLifeLine on behalf of NTM travelers.
AirLifeLine
is a national non-profit charitable organization of over 1,500 private
pilots who fly ambulatory patients who cannot afford the cost of travel
to medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment. AirLifeLine pilots
donate their time, aircraft and fuel to make this air transportation service
totally free of charge for patients who qualify.
Northwestern
Travel Management will choose another charity partner for 2002 in association
with the next Customer Appreciation Week.
