US Air Fuel Surcharge Short-lived

On December 23, 2002 US Airways instituted a $15 one way fuel surcharge on most fares. Since no other airline has gone along with the surcharge, US Airways has now canceled the fee. So, January 3, 2003, all travelers who purchased US Airways tickets after December 23 and paid the surcharge are entitled to a refund.
