Northwestern Travel Management offers extensive training for travel
counselors of all experience levels.
If you have completed travel school and are embarking on your travel
career NTM has a 'Rookie Training Program'. The rookie program is
five weeks of classroom training at our facility in Minneapolis
(Edina), MN. The course consists of computer skills, reservation
knowledge, customer service, geography and the basics needed to
become a corporate travel agent.
For those travel counselors with experience we offer CRS conversion
training if required, plus a five to seven day training class depending
on your level of experience.

On-going training is key to our employees success, we have dedicated
training staff committed to offering a variety of classes throughout
the year. In addition to the CRS computer training we also offer,
team building, customer service, international, internet and process
review classes. If your career goals involve supervision or management
we offer a structured supervisor certification program with emphasis
on business writing, team building, project management and employee
relations.
In addition to our standard training program NTM offers tuition
reimbursement which can be used towards travel counselor CTC Certification
and graded courses.
